Another interesting story, there was a young man that decided to give his heart to Jesus and be baptized. The baptism was going to take place our last Sabbath there. He was ill, and only got sicker and sicker. He passed away two days before the baptism date. Seemingly a victory for Satan, but as always with God, God wins in the end. That Sabbath there was a baptism, in which before the pastor asked his family to stand and come up to the front. There were his children, his wife, his parents, his brothers and sisters, all desiring to give their lives to the Lord and be preparing for baptism because of his faithfulness, his instruction and example, which would have never happened had he stayed alive. This young man won more souls by his death than his life. Our God knows the end from the beginning! |
